having a hard time signing up for barber @ stt or inside pass site. stt doesn't list it and inside pass goes to user id - password blocks when tickets are selected.
any clues?

It really does work. I used to run plain water, then I added Watter Wetter. That lowered temps.
Given that it's thermostatically controlled, how could that happen? |

Water Wetter is supposed to break the surface tension of water allowing it to carry away more heat. |

Chad - Wouldn't that just cause the thermostat to be closed for longer periods of time?
I guess it wouldn't if you were running the bike hard and couldn't pump out sufficient heat at the thermostats operating temperature. |

I'm not saying that the water wetter works but thermostats have two states. Either open or closed. Once open the water carries away what heat it can but the running temp with the thermostat open will go up and down with how hard the engine is being run and the ambient temp of the air flow over the radiators and the engine.
If, in fact, it does something to make the water make better contact with the cooling passages and/or changes the performance of the boundary layer of the water in the passages, it sounds credible to me that it could have lowered the temps in a given situation.
You want an example, replace your coolant with plain water. That will result in a slightly higher operating temp in many cases.
