Our first 1125r just got off the truck!

Of course its something like 12 degrees out and snow is coming over the mountains, 3-5 inches of it.

An interesting aside; it looks to me like everyone that wanted a Right Side Air Scoop from the factory can hove not one, but two with the 1125r.
One for the radiator,
one for the upper exhaust manifold to divert hot air off the pipe and route it under neath the rider.

Ok, so where's the truck heading next. Did the driver say something about LA???

Why did I have to live at pert near the farthest point from East Troy at this particular point in time!

Truck is/was typical delivery, cross-docked in KC to bring us a whole assortment of Harley product and the initial shipment of 1125r. We unloaded a dozen bikes, Sportsters, Dynas, Touring bikes, softails, and only our first 1125r.

I'm supposed to be setting up four of them tomorrow at work. We'll see if it happens... one of them is mine.

Jedi.. Do you work at Glendale? If so, it means that mine is almost here. I'm #5 on the list.

Why .. oh why.. couldn't there have been 5 of them on the truck..

Ok.. I won't whine..

Hang in there Asbjorn. They're taking their time, but they're coming.
I've been wondering if I'd see mine before Christmas. Now it looks like it's here.
If High Country HD (Jammin_Joules) got theirs today, SunHD's(mine) should be in tomorrow.
Good thing my buddy's truck is 4WD, we're expecting 2-5 more inches of snow.
Gotta see if parts dept. has tire chains for the 1125R yet.

Sleep's gonna be tough tonight.

Here are some different views, at least the camera angle perspective is atypical showing something other than standard great looking sexy bike in people's drive ways.

what is this "water fill" thing for?

Here's looking at you, a sight many will see coming up quickly in their rear view mirrors in 2008

this is one badass bike, I knew it riding it at Miller Motorsport Track in Sept, I know it again now. I am now looking into finances. Heck, I can put a more off-road centric tire on Joules, my Uly and have a real streetfighter too. Everyone should have a Buell for every Harley they have, right?

Doerman, I work at orange county H-D. They came in and I set them up. Of course I picked the one with lowest VIN# and it has issues. Speedo took a crap on me on the test ride, waiting on a call for fix tomorrow. The other stuff was little things like scratches on ft fairing, tail section and a completely buggered up bleeder on the hyd. clutch. Fun day today riding 1125r's most of the day. Speed sneaks up on you, had to lay off the throttle when I looked down at the gauges.

Hey Jedi. At least somebody in LA is having fun on an 1125R. I believe that you are the first to ride one in our great city!

Congrats!
