Does this bike have the tendency to "stand up" in a corner like the XBs do? I got used to compensating for it on my XB, but it kinda' took me by suprise at first.

One word:

NOT AT ALL.

Opps, that's three.

Actually, a properly set up XB with the latest sport tires such as the Pirelli Corsa III, Michelin Pilot Powers, Metzler M3 or Dunlop Qualifiers doesn't stand up in the corners much either, compared to the original Dunlop 207 tires.

In addition, the powerful front brake, and the slipper clutch make it easier to get through a corner even if one comes in a bit hot, so the need to brake in a corner is reduced, and that was the main cause of "standing up" if I recall correctly.

It is the original Dunlop tires that were the culprit that caused the bike to stand up. I replaced them with Metzlers and then Pirelli Scorpions, neither cause the bike to stand up.

The bike is pretty close to perfect on the track, (intermediate track rider).

TO BuellNewbie/Anonymous.

The answer is no. Not in any corner or at any speed or lean angle. It holds its line.

The 8 piston caliper is FAR superior to the 6-pot xb caliper in terms of power, feel, and lack of fade.
