Cory West posted a photo of a lot of rubber streaks in a turn at Jennings to Facebook today (18 March 2014), and said under the photo (at Instagram) that the moto-journalists had their first rides on the RX there today.

Hopefully we'll be seeing internet reviews in a day or 2 and magazine articles in a month or 2.

Here's mine.

Handles better than the 1125, smooth power delivery above 3k rpm, fun to ride even in crappy/cold weather. Feels lighter than the 1125 as well. Averaging about 38-40 mpg at the moment, it will probably drop once I get out of the break in period.

Did I mention I love having the first one in the state of Missouri? As far as I know, it's the only one out there right now. I just don't see how anything this fun can be legal.

Maybe it's not legal? hahaha
Look for a review on Friday at Cycleworld.com. :-)

Somebody has been playing with the traction control off. I have to admit this bike spins the rear tire at will with the TC low enough(below 3), but its very predictable and far easier to modulate than I would have ever expected. Its not the fastest way round a corner but it certainly might be the most fun.

Anyone else find it remotely odd that weeks after the press was invited to ride the bikes there are only two reviews? Can any shed any light on who all the Press was that participated in the event?

Yea, I do find that odd. I figured at least motorcycledaily.com and a couple of others would have had something up by now.

I remember Cafe Racer magazine did a test on the 1125CR in the second issue they published and loved it. If EBR was a UK corp, the press there would be screaming about how awesome the bike is. Don't get why all of the American press isn't flipping over the new EBRs--they are beautiful. I just wished I had extra cash--got a kid in college. For me anyways, my 1125R is the best bike I have ever owned.
