excerpted:

".....Motorcycle-making legend Erik Buell is getting a $20 million injection of foreign capital to fuel the launch of a new line of sport bikes that will compete with the likes of Ducati and generate 200 new jobs at his East Troy plant.

Erik Buell Racing LLC received the investment from FirstPathway Partners LLC, Milwaukee. The investment firm is led by Bob Kraft and arranges funding from wealthy foreigners through the federal EB-5 program.

“This investment in a growing American company is what the EB-5 program is all about,” Kraft told The Business Journal....."

This is the feel good story of the year, isn't it?

Let me think; US$20m it is a rain drop in a ocean; EBR needs much more than this to success!

true, but the way the economy is. they can lease a building for a good price.
what was interesting is that this company that is providing the funding provides sevices to foreigners.
in their web site it shows chinese, so it looks like the major investors are chinese.
also did you see that one of the services they provide is US citizenship for conpanies that are willing to invest 500,000 us dollars.
i find it amusing how people can buy a US citizenship!

You guys have a good point of view; i rest my case! In the other hand, Buell is an american company, God! Why an american company needs chinese investors? Obama's admin could help an legend! They do this to HD if i'am correct? Today, money can 'says' more than real and hard work, it is sucks!

Sure. It takes $100M to get a startup bike manufacturer off the ground.

And it takes two disks an calipers to make a superbike stop ; )
