Oconnor,
perhaps you need to download the proper drivers?
buellish,
those 148,000 miles have been some of the best times of my life. I was hoping to make it to 150,000 before i put the Nallin kit in. Looks like it goes in early.
Ccryder,
the list is extensive:
handlebars
Fairing
mirrors (both)
Turnsignals (all)
rear disc
rear belt
seat
exhaust pipes (headers ok)
Air filter, (the hypercharger was missing)
gas tank cover
clutch cover
left side footpeg/kickstand bracket
shift lever and linkage
ignition switch
BETTER alarm system (pitbull?)
Thanks again to everyone for your support, it was like having my heart ripped out.
And like Stingaroo says, Thanks to all military past and present. Without you, we would not have the freedoms we enjoy today.

Any antique bikers here? I am trying to find a place to get some plug wires for my Dad's WW2 Harley-Davidson WLA. The old 45 flathead fired up fine when we picked her up, but has not ran since we brought it home. Turns out the plug wires are shot. Anybody know of any websites, or contact for a place that deals with old Harley's, I would greatly appreciate it.
Once I leave on thursday for home, I will have only limited net access. I come back to school in mid January so let me wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a safe holiday.

Cessna,
Swing by my place and check out ,my J&P Cycles catalog. They have just about anything you'd need. If they don't have it, I'd give Robin (the antique Indian guy) a call. He's got quite a few contacts for that stuff as well.

Do you still need rocker box gaskets?

FMJim, thanks for the tip, I will check into it tommorrow. His GF??, what a find, the bike is awesome but a little different to ride.

Prior, hells ya, need the gaskets. I will get the beer, we can pull out the WC and work in the shop. Maybe I will have the stove crankin in there by then. I have Robin's number some place from Reading I think. Tried getting stuff from the MVPA, but they dont have any.
We can tear it up a little on the WLA, if you want to wrench on the old Honda and Montessa, I will see if I can pull them out as well. Give me a yell closer to the time.
Later on fellas.

Nice looking bike!! I wonder if that fairing would mount to a 2000 Cyclone???

I've also been wondering what my bike would look like if Buell had painted the frame white (niiiice).

I'm very glad you posted those pictures!... Gives me some ideas for mine ;)

Thanks, Bartimus... but I wasn't talking about YOUR fairing in particular, just that sort of fairing.. I appreciate the offer though!

(not sure how we'd get it from AZ to CA anyway)

If/when I ever have to drop my engine, I'm sure going to look into powder coating my frame white when I do! It looks really nice.

Bartimus,
If you're looking to give that fairing away I could use one to practice repairs on for my S2. Let me know if you're willing to ship it to Wisconsin and I'll get you the address and postage on the way.

MikeJ,

you got it, just pay for shipping. email me your address and I'll figure out the shipping. as you can see from the pics, it is cracked on the left side, and the windshield is also cracked. Insurance is buying me a new one, so I'm glad to help out a fellow Bueller.

yes, several times, not to be missed, BattleTrax, World Championship trials, paved hill climb, dirt hill climb (with free ski lifts to top of hill), stunt riders, vendors, great food and ambience and camaraderie, all in the Sierras overlooking Lake Tahoe.

it doesn't suck.
