Okay, this is a long shot, but I'll post it up anyway. Turns out I'm not going to need to replace the entire primary at all. That's good news, but I'd already bought this kit. It's the 25521-06 Buell XB Primary kit in textured black. Completely new-in-box with everything still plastic wrapped, etc.

So here's the deal, I'd rather just keep it for a rainy day or a year in the future when they're no longer available instead of losing any significant amount of money on this. That being said, for a small discount from the normal price, I'll put it up here just in case someone needs one.

This is a "kit". It includes every cover, gasket, etc. needed to replace the primary cover on a Buell XB. The *only* seal it does not have is the shift shaft seal per HD policy on how they packaged these. For example, it includes the clutch cable O-ring, primary gasket, inspection and clutch gaskets, etc. Bottom line is that pricing out the individual components (I did, as a result of the insurance claim), the kit is about a $25 discount overall.

I paid $307.85 for this to my door. If you buy it from HD around here, it is about $315.00 with sales tax. If you are interested in the kit, email/pm me and we can talk price/delivery options. Like I said, I'm not looking to lose much on this as it's probably worth it to just stockpile for the future. At the same time, if you need it, we'll figure it out so that you're a few bucks better than buying this from the dealer.

Kind of hard to take pics without unpacking the whole kit, but you get the idea.
