It was a real deal, the bike came home with me. 2 owner bike with all the documentation, Corbin saddle. Rusty and crusty from living outside in the Santa Cruz mountains, broken exhaust and expired tags. Clean title though, no monkey business. Honestly, I was really apprehensive for this one, rolling up into the hills with a wad of cash to meet a guy from what really looked like a scam on the surface. I had strapped on a bit of hardware in case, as my brother would say, "the shit went down". Turns out the seller was a really good guy. He was the second owner and had put most of the 48000 miles on it. He also had had enough problems with it that he just got tired of fixing stuff, and I think the exhaust was the last straw. His experience sounded kind of like the story on Don Casto's page about why Don eventually gave up...this one doesn't have a broken head or front mount though. I could have told him...green motorcycles are bad luck.... Oh, and it turns out that touring windshields don't work in the van of love...I discovered that while loading in....now I need to get a normal windscreen for it Here I was looking for a set of cases...and found one with a motorcycle attached to it....   Bigblockbruce Posted on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 - 08:31 am:        Excellent!
