There was no 1995 model year S1 Lightning. The frame is definitely an S2 Thunderbolt frame - which was the same for 1995 and 1996 S2's (1996 S2-T frame is gray). Tank is S2 as well, 1313 |

SOLD AS PACKAGE DEAL!!! To Bartimus and No_Rice: You two richard craniums are both excrement at best and a poor representation of the forum. Neither of you know anything of why the motor was used as a donor for another project yet you want to call me names and insult me??? May I say, with all genuineness and sincerity... the both of you douchebags. Be that as it may, since you feel like you have the right to know and to judge someone for their actions and call them names here are the facts... Original owner of the bike was very short and wasn't fond of the harsher ride of a sport bike. Already having a hugger Sportster as a daily driver he wanted to do a custom bobber Sportster so he found a rolling Sportster chassis dirt cheap and removed the motor to hop up and use as the power plant when he finished the mods to the frame and put the rolling Buell chassis on Craigslist. I then purchased the Buell rolling chassis to use the front end and wheels for a custom Harley project. And because I have gotten lots of good info on this forum from people, who unlike you two do not suffer from terminal cranial rectosis, I decided to list the stuff on here and sell it cheap to show my appreciation. But the bottom line is that you two are ass clowns for ragging on people and calling them names for what they choose to do with their property. ESPECIALLY not having knowledge of the facts. Keep the rubber side up, you two. (Message edited by geleeze on October 27, 2011) |

Hmmm...I don't see you named there. If you weren't the guy who took it apart, you aren't the moron.

I don't see ANY name calling there either.

And in return, you wish harm upon them? That's a bannable offense on some forums. Why don't you GFYS? |

When using your own logic to dissect your allegation that I wished physical injury on those two cretans all you really revealed was how profoundly cognitively challenged you are. Did I say i wished physical harm to anyone? No. I merely said "keep the rubber side up". Unfortunately being a douche isn't a ban worthy offense on this forum, otherwise you three turds would've been flushed. |

You do know which side of the bike the rubber side is, right? |

Oh goodie... a riddle!! Well lets see... Gas tank? Nope, not rubber. Handlebars? Nope, not rubber. Seat? Nope, not rubber. Rear fender? Nope, not rubber. Motor doesn't appear to be rubber either. Matter of fact, other than a few hoses and small bits the only substantial amount of rubber I see on my bike is the tires. Taking all that into consideration it would seem to me that the rubber side certainly isn't anywhere near the top of the bike. Thus, using my mad ninja skills of logic, I would conclude that the rubber side would be the bottom of the bike. Specifically where the tires meet the road. Final answer. How'd I do, Professor? So you wish them to keep the rubber side up, then explain that you know the rubber side is essentially the bottom of the bike and yet claim you didn't wish them harm? I need some of what you smoke - S2 donor bikes and magic upside down safety bikes lol. |

I can only say the words... I can't magically make you smart enough to comprehend them. Putting the rubber side up doesn't necessitate personal injury. The idiot fairy's constipation must be relieved cuz all the sudden there's four turds that need to be flushed. |

Rusty: From the "Terms of Use" that you agreed to when you signed up on Badweb: I will not post profane or vulgar language, nor will I engage in personal attacks nor in malicious derision in any form of other users of the board. I agree to treat with respect and courtesy all members of this online Buell enthusiasts' community. I realize that there is never any justification to violate this policy, and that if I do, I may forfeit my BadWeB posting privileges. I will honor without question, debate, or argument any/all custodian/admin request(s) concerning the content and/or decorum of my contributions on the forum. I realize that there is never any justification to violate this policy, and that if I do, I may forfeit my BadWeB posting privileges. Basically, the BadWeB custodians prefer to enjoy BadWeB rather than argue with indignant or disgruntled folks. Beginning with the second of your five total posts on this board you have repeatedly violated the first paragraph I pasted above. As a custodian, I'm putting you on notice that your behavior is not acceptable. Keep it up and you will be banned. rt |

Thanks for your post. While I accept and will honor your decision and am not arguing it or debating it, I will state the obvious by noting that people AGREED WITH ME for responding as I did to the inappropriate personal attacks, malicious derision, and discourtesy directed at me resultant to my posting things in the classifieds for sale. I will further state the obvious by noting that the official position of the board clearly is that it's ok to insult people who post in the classifieds, tell people who post in the classifieds "GFYS" (that stands for "go f**k your self", for those who didn't know), and generally be rude and abrasive to those who post in the classifieds... yet while the aggressors are free to act with impunity, the object of said behavior must remain mute. Lastly, several obvious questions must be asked such as... What was the genesis of my posts starting with post number two? Offense or defense? Did I initiate or respond? Would ANY of the posts in question been necessary were it not for the malicious discourtesy extended to a new member of the board? The answers are equally obvious. So while I do not apologize for what I said and stand behind it 110% I will, pursuant to your request, cease and desist immediately from any further response to the current or future malicious derision extended to me by others members of the board. |

>>>I will, pursuant to your request, cease and desist immediately from any further response to the current or future malicious derision extended to me by others members of the board. That'd be good. You'll never have to explain to anybody how you allowed yourself to get spun up over a classified ad on an internet board. As one of the folks here who actually answers to "Professor" . . I think you chose wisely. |

Well "Professor", simply answering to a title doesn't impart it. Further, if what you say is true it would seem that after all those years of higher learning you'd have the discernment to know a couple of things... 1. It is wise to avoid assumptions. To wit: Far from getting "spun up" I was chuckling to myself whist verbally sparring. 2. If an individual was truly getting spun up, exactly what benefit would come of you throwing in your two cents? Doesn't take a professor to see you're merely trying to stir the pot. Toodles... |
