Well my brother Is putting his beloved X1 GHOST RIDER movie bike up for sale. This bike has it all. It is 100% chrome and polished everything. It is one of 7 bikes made for the movie. 2 were destroyed in the making of the movie. 1 is in a museum. Nicholas cage has 1. My brother has 1. 3 were given away as prizes in a sobe\pepsi contest\drawing (including my brothers) He is into this bike more than $25,000.
It is going to be listed on eBay if no one here has any interest in it.
It will be sold at $17,500 firm!
This bike has a baker 6 speed, Large oil tank polished. Under seat exhaust system. Big bore motor kit race ecm, Billet round air filter.
Here are some pics.........I was going to buy it but i cannot afford payments of $500 a month right now.
He has all the documentation and proof of it being the real thing!
This bike and all the others in the movie were sourced from Australia. Al Lighton @ American Sport Bike had a huge part in getting parts for these bikes in time for the movie.
After the movie was finished the bikes were sent to bartels HD in california be to street legalized.
I took more than 1 year to get it titled in the U.S. This is a 1 of a kind bike and a once in a lifetime opportunity of a bike!
Ghost rider was another great opportunity for HD to market BUELL and sell bikes. HD pisses me off. Nice bike good luck selling it. Try EBAY. That is a lot for a tuber.
"If he won it in a drawing, how is he in it $25,000??"
If I did not have anything else to spend my money on maybe. It is still a tuber even with the bling bling! What would it actually cost to pimp out a tuber like to make it look like this bike?
there is no way I personaly would have paid that for that X1....though in my opinion it would have looked better if all the chrome had been a mix of black chrome and flat texture black with the white body parts...BUT,they were for a movie so they wanted flashy not stealthy, movies are to dazzle you with b.s. so chrome is better for that ...I guess....
thats exactly what it said i purchased the bike from the guy that won the bike and me and my brother added it up your couldn't build a x1 for this price even if you do the labor yourself with everything it has and leave it to some self centered idiot to bad mouth other peoples bikes based on their own opinion of how something should look not every one likes black d@#$ A&^

So show me in KBB where the include accessories? When you add things to any vehicle just write that off.
The bike is cool and one of a kind. If you can get flyscreen and the docs saying that it was used in the movie then yes you may be able to get coin for it.
But your best bet is the Dupont Registry not a free ad on BWB.
If you can, I would restore it to movie condition (not the crash part) and hang onto it...
Cool bike. Best to sell it in an auction. They have movie prop auctions in LA all the time...May be someone would want it parked next to Steve McQueen's Triumph TR6 Trophy...Or better yet Lawrence of Arabia's Brough Superior...
