I am listing this for a friend, the bike is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The bike has 21,000 miles on it.
Has had the pinion gear upgrade, has PM rims, and Vance & Hines exhaust, has been lowered about 1 1/2" and has just had a new rear shock installed.
The bike is in very good condition, an 8 out of 10, and has decent rubber...

Yes, that is a Corbin seat you see - it is no longer on the bike which has just been sold - pending pick-up.
Thank you all for your interest and support

Flying to Albuquerque in the morning to pick it up and ride him or her back to Indiana. What is the gender tendencies of these x-1's? Mona calls it him and I am open to that it'll just take some getting used to. 22 or so hours on it over 2 days I'm sure it'll let know which way it wants to swing.

Gender is flexible in this case - as always, it's rider preference - could be metrocycsual

Sotipnomon picked up the bike yesterday - he's riding it to it's new home (note: no gender ID yet). Have a safe trip.

Me, and it are at rt 66 HD in Tulsa. It ran great for 150 miles then ran out of gas and hasn't been right since. I got picked up by a couple of awesome badwebers 80 miles out of OKC, worked on it all day, took off again this morning and got about 10 miles from Tulsa and oil started dumping out of the airbox onto the headers. I have no reason to think that anyone knew anything, just the luck, and thought I'd give an update.

This bike is gorgeous! Fastgirl, you were correct in every description and dealing with you and J.C. was a pleasure. Thanks for the tankbag and bungees, they worked perfectly.

The bike ran absolutely beautifuly out of town and I think I missed a turn for the canyon ride but it looped me back around to 40 so I hoped back on Eastbound with a grin from the mild corners that little detour offered.

I have no idea why, I was a little heavy handed a couple of times but nothing crazy, at around 150 miles it kind of stumbled and sputtered so I pulled off. Checked the fuel and could hear a little sloshing around, and didn't yet know the shape of the tank so assumed that there was still enough to get me 200 miles so I hopped back on and about 7 or 8 miles down the road it ran out completely.

That is where the trouble started, I will document the full story on the "tails" section here soon but the short is the front piston "grenaded" as told and shown to me by the Fine people at Rt 66 HD in Tulsa. Bob, you are the North Star of Harley Service Guys!

Made it home today in my Budget box truck this evening around 7.

If the lord allows that I never have to sell it to feed my family, I will own this bike until I die. I love it. It has found a forever home. While obviously wishing that I was getting ready to explore it's cornering ability rather than internals, I love it.

I got sort of a "swing both ways" vibe too, so that should be interesting.

Again, thank you guys for everything on your end. Thank you for taking care of her while you had her and I know that you are sorry it didn't go as planned and have no idea what happened just like Pete, Phil and I.

Here is Dylan, my motorhead, already looking through the corner on it.

Anyone who might know: would this be one of the "black lightning" models, how do you tell?

I knew you two would find each other - gender issues aside.

We're glad you made it home safely. If you ever find yourself in NM again, we'll be happy to show you some of those curves and corners we talked about.

(couldn't access your pix)

Sotipnomon, congratulations on getting home safely albeit in a truck and not on the bike as I'm sure you had planned.
You are a true sport having bought a bike which blew an engine and still loving it..!!! A true believer indeed!
All the best.
