Built to order exhaust, made from 304 SS throughout. Includes everything you need, nuts, bolts, grommets, clamps and the pipe itself. Muffler case is 3.5x8x12" and fits nicely under the bike. Slight customization is available (angle of muffler, type of outlet/outlets) and I'm working on a 2-1-2 (x-pipe) setup, which will be available at a later date. Currently only a natural finish is for sale, polishing may be available later. Roughly 2-3 weeks from order to when it ships, each one is built as it gets ordered.

www.keda-design.com for more info, or shoot me a pm, I'll try to answer asap.

Any dyno runs to show what the exhaust is capable of?

Sticks -- Cool. You a sponsor? -- yup, as of yesterday. Sorry it took so long.

Puzzled -- I sent a reply back the following day, I had assumed the discount wasn't enough since I hadn't heard back from you. If it got lost in the spam filter, I'll take the blame for it. --> edit pm sent, I totally hosed that communication up when you had asked. I know for sure you never got it, my apologies. : (

I only have a few sets of those left and am doing a redesign of it next week. I have the drawings, just need to machine out a prototype set and test them. It will be a removable set of spools. Not sure on the pricing yet, there's a bit more material involved. However, if it works out, the 1125 board will be where I post the info first. Btw, it will work for all 3 years of the 1125. Once I get them finished, I'll look into all the other cast swingarm bikes (xb's, etc) to see if I can adapt it easily enough.

Dyno charts for stock, stock modified and this custom pipe, all in a row. It runs essentially the same as stock, so tuning will produce even more power, just like the stock pipe does, possibly as much as 17 hp up top and 10 more in the midrange.

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=290431&post=1706982#POST1706982

Ok, for reference, this is NOT my chart, it's a tuned one, PBRider did this one a while back.

Looks like a stock run, followed by a tuned run.

Now, follow that up with another change, he added a D&D pipe. He also added more fuel and timing. This is just to show what's possible with tuning.

Please bear in mind, I have NOT tuned mine yet, so the results may not 100% match the ones posted by PBRider, but it should come close.

I was looking at the pipe location.Erik said there will be full fairings for sale at a great price. So will this setup clear for a fairing or a belly pan?Whats the exhaust case dimensions?

Muffler case is 3.5x8x12" and fits nicely under the bike.

As posted above.

I'm working on some other options for the muffler itself, the smallest single can would be a 3.5" round one. 7" wide for a pair if they're touching. I can also alter the case length if needed and tuck it up a little higher. I don't know if this case (the 8" one) will fit in a belly pan. It's the same width as a stock muffler, but it sits differently, so without fitting one up, I really can't say.

If your changing the design again why are you selling this pipe?People will be mad to find out later that this is a inferior model that will not work with aftermarket fairing?Planning and design should be done at once.Remember the jardine dragging issue.here we go again. You also stated me at 700$ and now their 599???

I'm not changing the design, I'm offering different options. What exactly would make you think that an alternative design would be "inferior" in any way? It's solid stainless steel, it won't rust or crack and when it's installed properly, it won't fall off the bike. I do not know if this one will work with the belly pan or not and never claimed that it would. It measures 3.5" tall, 8" wide and is 12" long. The case size will not change unless I do 3.5" round cans, either as a single or a pair. The single 3.5" can will be loud, extremely so. I will continue to offer the original design as long as there is interest in it and even if it dropped off, I'd still hand fabricate one special for anyone if they asked. Not everything I do is for everyone, personally, I like choices, so I'll offer them to everyone if it's within my ability to do so.
There is very little possibility of the exhaust dragging, other than large speed bumps, but it is constructed well enough that it will take a hit, maybe shift some and you could keep going. The end plates are at least .100" thick and are extremely tough to bend or damage, although I'm sure a good wreck will do a bit to it. As far as dragging like the Jardine, it does not stick out the side of the bike the same way, so I really doubt it will happen. As far as the original quote, it was prior to being in business and selling them online. I'm willing to take a cut in what I make per piece for a little more volume that I didn't have before. Just passing along some savings to other Buellers. I was able to negotiate a percentage off my cost, I immediately dropped my price to reflect that.
Hope this helps some.

It shouldn't, no. I use one wrap of stainless steel wool and a small amount of stranded fiberglass to help it keep shape, but mostly it's more of a 2 chamber resonator. Standing next to it, it's about the same volume as a Jardine, from 20 feet away, it's just a medium rumble. I haven't heard it at a distance going by except for a recording, but subjectively, it sounds quieter while riding it rather than just standing next to it. It may get a bit louder over time, but not a lot. There are no real provisions for repacking since the case is fully welded. I guess a magnaflow would be the closest comparison for sound, maintenance and design.

Unfortunately, no, I do not know. I'm planning on running the next one (dual 2" outlets) on the dyno Thursday at Gateway HD, hopefully I'll get some opinions there from guys that hear them day in and day out. Almost everyone who's heard it in person so far has liked it a lot and commented on how it sounds compared to most other pipes. It's all been favorable so far, with the exception of my wife. She was standing pretty close to it (in a closed garage) when I fired it up for her and she says it's pretty loud.

Wish I were closer so you could hear it in person. If you ever make it up to St Louis, give me a call. Also, if there's anyone near here that wants to give a 3rd party opinion of it, I'm here year around.
