I have an 02 M2L that I rode for one season and am wanting to move to an XB. This was my first bike and I rode it this past season to learn on.

The bike has 10k miles on it. Other than a ground wire that I had to clean, and shearing off a couple of shifter linkage bolts it hasn't given me any problems at all. I bought it from a family member who has a powder coat business. The bike was stripped down to the frame to powder coat the frame and other various parts. As you can see from the pictures it will need paint. I rode for a year on it with rattle-can black and still got people asking questions at every stop light and fuel stop. The bike does have a "rebuilt" title. I'm not exactly sure what makes a bike "rebuilt", I should have asked that when i bought it but the price was right.

your salvage bike looks to be worth your asking price - good luck with the sale

Q - how did the powdercoater achieve the black finish on the front disc's center? [originally silver]

was it disassembled? if so, how re-assembled?

The front disc and forks are painted not powder coated. Powder coated parts are the frame, swing arm, triple trees, front drive pulley, rear pulley.
