This in no 2007 Custom Buell, it is a 2007 Custom bike made with a very few buell parts.

You could probably get more cash out of it saying it is a 2007 Custom V-Rod.

Was it built from an S2?
I ask cause we have an S2 owner list going and if it's an S2 we can put it down as parted-out.

Well, you'd think a 'rigid' Buell wouldn't be 2" inches under, but a little 'over' ?

I believe the 2" under refers to the neck height which is 2" lower compared to their standard/sporty mutant frame. It has to be dropped down to use the Buell front end and still be raked out.

I was looking to build a buell chopper when I bought mine. Fortunately I rode mine a few times and realized that chopping it was a terrible idea.

It's not about just chopping a perfectly good bike. Its about giving the bike more style and class. If you rode it you'd like it.

"Its about giving the bike more style and class."

I beg to differ. Chopping a Buell is about negating the very essence of the bike. Kinda like de-clawing a tomcat or neutering a pit-bull.

"If you rode it you'd like it."

Again...I beg to differ. Just knowing it has the heart of a Buell (and nothing more)would make me long for the rest of the package.

Nice cruiser, but thats all it is. (to me)

Sorry to jack your thread. Good luck with the sale.

Gentle reminder guys, bike for sale here!

This is the Classifieds section, not discussion forum, right? I admit I did make a weak attempt at humor earlier, but we should respect the listing for sale, agreed?

somewhere there may be a buell forum with many members who would find this bike a plus.

perhaps that same forum would have folks who don't express their opinions.

as far as i can see, badweb doesn't seem to be that forum.
