These mirrors come with a provenance... they were originally Firemanjim's, the semi-legendary BadWeb gadfly. He gave them to me for a few beers (which I still owe him), but they don't fit my bike. I don't know what they fit, but I suspect it may have been an earlier model Buell than mine.

What you see is what you'll get, but hey... they're free.

First response gets them... unless I personally don't like you, then the second response will get them. But if I don't like them either, I may consider giving them back to the first responder. We'll see.

Oh, and no promises about time frames and such... I'll send them when I bloody well feel like it. I'm just trying to keep the karma going.

In case you don't like Jsunstar then I'll get in line, and in case you don't like me then Jsunstar goes back to the front of the line, but in case someone comes along and calls thirds that you like even better or maybe dislike a little less then I'll just step aside with no hard feelings.

What are the aluminum-looking things?
They look like adapters to mount them to the handlebar clutch/brake perches?

When you say they didn't fit, is that where they did not fit? To the regular handlebar mirror mounts?

Yep, he got me with the bicycle tricks. Last time I tried to do something funny on the bicycle I was trying to out maneuver my wife's grandson in a bicycle race and lowsided going around a brick lightpole base down by the harbor. Wheelie?, stoppie?, I think they call it a crashie or a flattie or a Mike went thuddie. Knobbies on a Mtn bike don't grip wet brick paving stones too well.

Jsunstar,
post pics when you have them mounted on something, with or without the adapters.

I went headfirst into the pavement in front of my teenage nephews when I tried to stoppie my mountain bike to impress them. I tucked and somersaulted at the last moment and somehow didn't hurt myself, but my reputation as cool Uncle Danny was gone forever.
