Does anyone know if a muffler off of a 99 M2 will fit a 98S1W with a 2.5" collector

I think that the cyclones came with a 2 inch collector.

What is the length from the muffler to the tip ?(eliminating the front bend)

The 99 and later M2's have a 2.5" collector, however, it's steel, not stainless steel.
The 2000 and up all had stinless steel.

It will fit, but you will have to redo the front exhaust mount somewhat.
