These forks were modified by Trackside Engineering.

They have the competition spring, and they were revalved.

The are perfect for the aggressive street rider/trackday guy, or the guy who is heavier than average.

Never been dropped or damaged in any way.

The only reason I am selling them, is that I am upgrading to Ohlins, not because I am dissatisfied with these, but because I just can't stop fooling with my bike:, and I have Ohlins rear suspension.

These are based on the 2003-2004 41mm forks, so they will fit on any 2003 or 2004 XB 9 or XB 12. Not for Uly, or TT. Good for converting a Sg to standard height.

They will also fit on later models by changing the lower triple clamp to the Buell 2005 and later model.

Price: $350 plus shipping. A great upgrade for the money.

Jon

Could you please email some of the more specific info on the forks, like you said, I am an above average man, and feel I do ride beyond the stock shocks abilities.

And it sounds like a good deal to me!!

That is a great deal!

Did something similar to my XB forks (both sets), with 0.95 kg/mm springs and the suspension shop's custom bottom end magic. For my weight (250ish), the difference is front end stability - especially controlled fork compression under hard braking - has been worth every penny. The fork mods cost me $400+ in parts and labor (not including forks), so Jon's deal is a screamer!

Oh, and if anybody wants to know, I had the suspension shop measure the fork spring rates of OE Showa (2005+ S/R models) and Buell's Pro kit springs:

OE XB9/12 R/S regular height forks - 0.85 kg/mm

Buell Pro kit fork springs - 0.90 kg/mm
