no offense, but this works a whole lot easier if you post what you would like to get for the items...

Do you have your left fuse box? I believe maybe it comes with the wring harness, not sure.

I'll take:
Inspection cover (BLACK) $4
Clutch inspection cover (BLACK) $8
how do you want money? paypal?

Also, I am looking for American Sport Bike 11% primary gear reduction. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/A17150.html
According to the page, they are oem parts of of an XB9. Do you have these parts? From what I can tell its just 3 parts.

Thanks, Shai!

Bueller, Thanks for asking.

The original oil pump drive gear failed. I bought all replacement parts (which are listed above) to repair the engine and then I bought another XB in the process because I couldn't stand not riding.

13k on the stock parts. Some parts are newer.

I used this bike as my commuter vehicle, highway travel to/from work. When fuel was hitting $3.00 plus a gallon getting 50mpg helped out a lot.

If thats the new alloy oil pump drive gear (the gold looking one), I'll take it. No thanks if it's the old style, have one of those sitting here on my desk already : (

It's the old skool oil pump drive gear. The new one costs a bit more.

Which is why I was so prompt in offering to buy it if it was the new style : ) : )

Thanks for the follow up. Good luck selling your parts.

Any other issues contributing to the oil pump drive gear failure that you want to share? Thats an early failure for an XB.

I agree that is early for a gear failure.

This was a stock motor. The oil had been changed in accordance with the manual and the never had any other motor issues.

Hrrmph. Time to drop my exhaust and oil pump and break out the dental mirror again. Oh well, the exhaust desperately needs repainting anyway. Looks like I have a project for my next oil change.
