I am parting out a black 2000 cyclone (minus drivetrain) and wanting to sell off all remaining parts either as a complete package or individual parts. Every thing is up for grabs (EXCEPT motor, title, frame....unless you are looking of a "race" frame with no numbers.)Let me know If anyone is looking for any specific parts..most likely I have it.

And why doesn't your frame have any numbers?

Alright boys and girls. Don't ASSume things here. Different states attach the title to EITHER the frame, OR the motor.

Buellgrrl asked a very valid question. Why the flippant reply?

Vinsanity had the opportunity to explain the status of his frame, but in lieu of a proper explanation (aSSuming that one exists) he chose to be a smarta$$.

See here in Missouri when you build a "special construction" motorcycle you need to have original title(from the donor bike) as well as the mso for the new frame that you plan on transporting all the parts to.The DMV will then issue a new title for the bike(based on the original vin# & new mso frame) to make everything legal. I have no problem selling the original frame to someone BUT the vin#'s would be cut off just to make sure that there would be NO chance of two bikes running around with the same #'s. Is that a good enough explanation for you????

Sounds like way too much hassle... why not just buy a factory new, never abused by us Buelligans, motor for your chopper wannabe project?

Yeah, your right. It is somewhat a hassle but it's a small price to pay to keep from riding a "cookiecutter" bike that everybody else has. To me,(my opinion)there is nothing worse than pulling up to a stop light and looking over to see the very same bike your ass is planted on.Hey,to each is own I guess?!
Im not here to bash or hate.... just sale some extra parts that maybe of some use to someone who's scoot has suffered some road rash. That's all.Just so you know...my buell is legit, NOT stolen and at this minute my frame DOES have vin#'s.I used the words "race frame" in my first thread to help explain that I would part with the frame but it would come WITHOUT #'s. Without them , the only thing anyone would be able to use It for would be to "race".
Thanks,
Vince

Well Vinsanity, you had a distinctive bike, a Buell... A rare high performance machine that sticks out from all the "Easy Rider" Harleys and wannabes at your local biker bar. So yes, you can now slosh beer with this bunch of losers, but don't expect to pick up any women... we have better taste. In fact, the crowd in a biker bar around closing time looks a lot like the all male and occasional butch crowd of a gay leather bar...

Vinsanity, there is still hope for you. Take that Buell motor out of that sewer pipe "chopper" frame (BTW, you should see those frames before they paint them- they weight two to three times as much as a 'tuber frame, using cheap heavy gage tubing that's one step above pig iron. They use the heavy gage to try to make up for their questionable welding skills) and it put it back in that lovely work of art of a Buell high tensile steel alloy frame. While your putting that Buell motor back in it's proper place, season to taste with some aftermarket parts.

You'll have her ready just as spring blossoms in the Missouri River valley. And while the biker boys are resting there sore butts at the biker bar, you'll be carvin' the curves on a Buell, politely turning down "wanna race" offers from pimply guys on generic 600 fours and requests to ride pillion from pretty small town women. But you'll ride on, because only bikers waste a beautiful day in a bar... returning after dark to collect those admiring damsels if you wish!

Why don't you all back off and let the man sell his parts!!!!!!!!!!! Quit being so damn touchy...It's a bike for god sake...He's not parting out a kid... 2 wheels are cool no matter what....Just because somebody else has different taste than you doesn't make them wrong and certainly doesn't make you right...Opinions are like ***holes and yours is showing...

Vincent...good luck with the chopper build, and seelin' off the x-tra parts..Is it one of MC Works frames? Check out the KC's Least Wanted thread in the Storm Fronts..We have a ton of Buellers in the area and Buell choppers...and we ride with them all....In fact we pretty much ride with everyone that has the 2 wheel passion...That's good enough for us...no elitists here..

dont get me wrong i think some of the buell choppers are works of art so no big complaints there. was more along the lines of pointing out that not wanting to explain the frame thing is going to lead to people worrying that exact thing. how many times does it happen. alot, and most people dont know any other reason for no numbers on a frame. not saying anyone on here is like that. so if i offended anyone i am sorry just wanted to make a point, and get some attention to the fact that that kind of responce is going to make people worried.

good luck selling the parts and hope the chop turns out sweet.

KCCyclone, you forget that the riders of those chopper wannabes have to stop at just about every bar to rest their tired butts, etc.. Why would a Buell rider want to waste most of a great riding day in the bar waiting for those failed males to medicate and recover from their pain?

Buellgrrrl, why must you try and stereotype people by what they ride? I've got friends that ride Buell Chopper, Harleys, and other custom bikes that ride with us and we are not sitting in bars....Do your prejudices carry over into other aspects of your life? I'm a Jew therefore I must have a big nose and a lot of money right? Why don't you quit while your behind and quit trying to justify your warped way of thinking. Do you wear red suspenders and bootlaces? What are you the Buell police or a card carrying member of the KKB (Klu Klux Bikers)

I knew from the get go that there would be some tension on these threads about parting out a BUELL but....this is getting to be a little high schoolish If you ask me?! I respect all riders NO MATTER what they ride! Who gives a flying flip what you ride.... as long as you ride!If I came on to this website and bashed everybody who owns and rides a buell I deserve to be lashed at, but that was not the case. I worked, saved and bought MY buell with my own damn$$$ and If I choose to cut It up to make a custom bike thats my business. I'm glad that you know so much about my personal life and my intentions that you can label my passions and past times buellgrrrl. I'm sorry but you are making yourself look more ignorant with each post. Save your sarcasm for somebody who cares...or who is willing to listen.
I came to this site to sell parts to people who ride buells and maybe make somebody happy who has a roadrashed bike NOT make friends. Please save your remarks and childish beliefs for the talk forums. Last I looked this was the classified section WHERE PEOPLE LIST PARTS THEY HAVE FOR SALE!Those of you who are looking for parts email me.
Later,
Vince

Vince,

I wasn't busting your balls about chopping your Buell -- your ride, your money, your time, your preference.

I was confused about your reluctance to answer Buellgrrrl's question about frame numbers. You answered it and I wish you well in your venture.

If I've in some way offended you please accept my apologies.

NICE Larry!!!!, Well put.

Vinsanity,
Larry let me know that you were selling a bunch of parts for a M2, and that the haters are in full effect. I ride with Larry and the rest of the KC Least Wanted crew, and PROUDLY ride a buell chop (when I can get it out of the parking lot without stalling inside joke) I built myself. I know all about the pride you have when build it yourself. So F-em it not theirs and do what you want. If you need stuff for the engine and other misc parts I probably have them since I have 2 engines and 3 sets of covers both chrome and blacked out. What type of frame you going to use or do you have? Any questions while building, hit me up I may have some insight since I have done one already (pic of it on profile. When you get it done come to the KCLW thread and post some pics and come out for a ride.
To buellgrrl,
Do you even own a bike?? Anytime you want to you roll your or BFs bone stock POS next to my sewer pipe "chopper" frame POS I will be more than happy to hook you up. By the way if the guys you roll with need a bike to pick a girls no matter how BabA$$ a Buell is it wont help.

I appreciate the support fella's. No need for apologies Bigdaddy...all is cool.To answer your question Fester99...I'm building off a MCWORX digger 240 frame(2"up, 2"out,40 degree rake,7 degree in the trees). When you look at the bike it is all influenced fom Billy's style over at Choppersinc.
Thanks, and If any of you guys know of somebody looking for parts for their stock M2, streetfighter, or mutant please have them contact me at bmormino@kc.rr.com
Thanks,
Vince
