I know most of you already know these bikes well, but I've included lots of stats & info just in case non-members read this. Thanks : )

Specs & Stats:
The bike is an '04 Buell Blast, a 492cc single-cylinder engine rated at 34HP and 30+ foot-lbs of torque in stock condition. It has a 5-speed transmission, an automatic choke, self-adjusting hydraulic valve lifters, a 2.8 gallon tank and a 360 lb. dry weight. It's rated over 70 mpg on the highway. It's in great condition, dependable year-'round, is very low-maintenance, runs very smoothly, was always kept covered and has somewhere between only 1,700-1,800 miles on it. Note: it needs a new battery. I opted for the low 25" seat, because I liked the look of it better, but there is a 27.5 inch seat that can probably still be found online or at a dealership. As you can see in the picture, my girlfriend's feet easily reach the ground. The body panels are made of a hard resin produced by DuPont called Surlyn, which is very durable (they make golf ball casings out of it). Scratches on its surface can be buffed out with a high-grit sandpaper, because the black color dye is molded into the resin. Buell has ceased producing motorcycles, making this a possible collector's item. Harley-Davidson has committed to providing parts and service for Buell motorcycles for another 7 years.

History:
I picked it up NEW from the dealership in Aug '05. Because it was won in a contest and then sold to me by the first owner while it was still at the dealership, I am the second owner (but the first one to take delivery, so I've been its only rider). I rode semi-frequently all year 'round up until 2009. The oil and filter have been changed multiple times, most recently last summer (before storing the bike in a garage). The bike has never, EVER been dropped, tipped over, laid down or in any type of accident.

Modifications:
I've modified it with the Buell Pro Series air intake and a Vance & Hines exhaust. I re-jetted the carb and I added higher-profile pulsing LED taillight for safety. The Buell logo decals have been removed, so the bike is simply a matte black. I've rust-protected the exhaust downpipe in a matching flat black enamel as well.

Asking Price/Book Value:
Sticker price for a 2004 model was $4,600. The 2009 model, which was not changed mechanically since 2004, was $4,700. Kelley Blue Book's current "Retail" value is $2,125 for a stock 2004 bike in 'Fair' condition with MUCH higher mileage. I am selling a bike in great condition, with modifications, MUCH lower mileage and accessories (all-weather heavy duty cover, lock, etc.) included. My asking price is $2,500 FIRM. Please respect that "FIRM" does NOT mean "Negotiable" just because you have cash. Serious offers only, please.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for reading : )
