I went to the dealer to get a replacement for my fuel petcock on a 2001 Blast.

The dealer ordered one and a few days later received notification that it was no longer available and that there was NO part number to superseed to!

I don't know how this can be on a 2001 Blast.

Can someone tell me if this is the same petcock on any other 'later' Blasts or regular Buells?

Or is there another petcock from a JAP bike which will work? They all look like nearly the same pattern.

This seems rediculous!

Thanks for the help!!!!

Your dealer is (probably) misinformed, try calling Dave S at Appleton, or one of the other sponsor dealerships, they will help you out.

As far as I know the petcock has not change from 2000 to now Buell Blasts. I know that the 2005 models had a imilar looking if not the same petcock.
