JAMES KEITH DELK JR, NEW CASTLE, VA...and HIS GIRL went down on the street and got hurt.

I got the call tonight from Sr...

Jr. has a broken upper extremity bone and both he and his girl have a lot of rash.

Just in case you all don't know of the Delks, kin and crew, these are good people and have worked very hard to help everyone relevant to Buell/HD, fellow racers of all brands and even help more so on the outside of this scope...totally great friends and family that love their neighbors.

They all live right, work hard and do unto others above the call.

Please pass along your wishes to one of our best involved herein;

#278...

Ugh! The road rash will probably be worse then the broken bone.

Sorry to hear this! Here's hoping for a quick recovery.

Sorry to hear you and your girl friend got banged up, and that your racing season ended prematurely, Keith.

That street riding can be pretty dangerous.

Thanks again for all your help when I was in Roanoake, and for the Ohlins forks.

I hate to hear about anybody falling - especially since this means missing the rest of the season.

Take care of yourself and your lady!

That's good news for sure. Trust me, I can feel your pain!

So while you continue to mend, how about recounting the horror and what you would do/wear/react differently to avoid the same outcome?

Your perspective could hit home and help others avoid a similar situation.

will i was on my 2006 streetglide, was going about 25 or 30 mph, was making a turn from a stop light, got in to some oil or pea gravel, lost the front end, almost got it back ,then it was gone , it drove my shoulder in the pavement, . bike pined my leg under it and draged me. some people stoped and got the bike off me, and i rode it home, and then the girlfriend and my self had some one take us to the er. nothing i could have done to change it sh!* happens

Give my best to the rest of the kin.

Where is Mom?!

Glad to hear you both are healing as best as can be expected.

Talked to your Pop today...sorry, I've been tied up for the last couple weeks.

Pop is more concerned about you all then his new number. Congrats just the same old man. ; )

See you all @ VIR. I'll be there to help if needed.

Keep my spot warm, please...as its starting to cool down up here in the North.

My love 2 you guys, God's Speed to get you both well,

mm
