One week before the race and no thread for it?

Anywho...Just ordered my tickets off their website. Advance ticket pricing in effect until Wednesday. Infield parking passes for cars are only available in advance, motorcycles park free in the infield.

This should be a fun weekend for me, as it will the first AMA Pro Race that my 11 year old son will come to the races with me!

I bought the weekend grandstand seats for both of us and a paddock pass for me, my son gets in the paddock free with me (under 12 y.o.)

The "rumor mill" is running wild here

We are staying at the Travelodge.
Anyone else going?

Time to pack that Higbee-Racing shirt, Buell Racing shirt and the rest of my Buell shirts, Gotta Represent!

You GOTTA wear your Higbee shirt and stop and say HI in the pits. Shawn, Mitsu and Marianne were totally flattered and surprised by the number of people who stopped in wearing the "Team" shirts.

You just gotta do it. It's such a great way to introduce yourself too!

You all gotta realize that Mid-O is also hosting the Moto-GT endurance series as well.

In addition to James Gang, Antelope Valley's team: Liberty Waves - piloted by "The Erics" - Pinson and Haugo will be racing - look for the Dairyland Insurance colors (can't miss it)

Helluva weekend it's gonna be for you.

Hate to miss it!!!

Just wondering if I should take my gear...

The Buell web site shows that BMC will be at Mid Ohio. What it doesn't say is if there will be demo rides there. Any one know?

When I was there 2 years ago, they did have demo rides.

I think they're having a track day Monday or Tuesday after the races.

How cool that the top 6 spots are 6 different brands?

Slick, it appears, has the fastest lap by a 0.02 margin.

edit - make that 2nd faSTEST

Knapp didn't do too bad on the 1125RR either. 15th fastest, mid pack. Not too bad for his first laps on the new ride. I wonder how much different making the paces on the 1125R and 1125RR are. Uhmm... That's a lot of R/are's.

Indy,

arrrrgh!! , eh?

Dunlop slicks & the 'enhanced' engine internals are the major differences between Daytona & American SuperBikes, correct?

perhaps this practice/qualifying/raceday transition is similar to that faced by the mid-field 2008 AMA SuperStock racers when also riding their Zooks in SuperBike
