Been a while since I posted here or even rode my Uly. Has 21k on the OD and its time to move on. Anyone have a pulse on what they go for these days and is anyone here interested in my black with the factory race ecu and pipe? Ill let it go for a good price in colorado. In 2018 I traded my 06 (42k miles) for a new left over and huge discounted 2016 MV Agusta Turismo. The dealer offered me $1500. Then didn't want to honor the offer. Told him deal's off... So that's what I got. Also, shipping cost on a Buell muffler is expensive. | ||

Well Ill make a deal if someone wants it. I figured the passion has faded for these XB versions and its kinda sad. They were pretty fun. Im getting to old to ride anymore. I have the original stock muffler to throw in and a brand new Buell leather jacket that I never wore lol. Probably hung on to this stuff a bit to long. BTW it sounds pretty bitchin with the race pipe. | ||

I bought my '06 Barricade Orange Uly in 2021 for $4,600. That was late-COVID so it may have inflated the price some, who knows. Since then I've kept my eye on the local market and I see them listed for $3-6K. Some seem to sell in a few weeks, others just sit. Going price and speed of sale seem to depend on location (in the city vs. in the sticks) and condition or perceived condition. The stuff that isn't shiny and looks like it was stored in a barn sits and sits (as it should...). Mine had sat on the market for a couple months but the owner wasn't in a hurry. Some guy had been kicking the tires on it for several weeks whereas I woke up on a Wednesday and said to my wife: "I'm going to buy that Buell I always wanted." and I drove this one home on Saturday. It came with full factory luggage, factory seat, low seat, trickle charger, tall and short windshield, binder with some service history, and a helmet. I've certainly had my share of headaches with this old girl, and I've learned more than I wanted to know about all the "Buell-isms" along the way, but I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. You get a hellofa lot of motorcycle for what you pay and it always puts a smile on my face. Yeah hate to give it away. Wish I would of sold it when I mostly quit riding. The front range of colorado is a freakin zoo with everyone on their phones. I almost got hit a few times and decided to cool it for a while. Now I have no interest. | ||

The front range is a zoo but you're so close to all the mountain roads! I just love riding the backroads of Colorado! | ||

plenty of great non mountain riding roads in the front range with little traffic. southeast of denver (beyond Parker) down the the springs is great... also northeast of boulder... out in the country... loved my 20 years there.... | ||

Well my brother just sold his 09 for $5000.00. He had it listed for $5400.00. The guy wanted to negotiate so my brother told him that if he didn't get $5000.00 for it he'd keep it. Then the guy says $4900.00? I mean really? Then offered $4950.00. My brother gave him a nearly new Service manual and says, "here's your 50 bucks!" His bike was as perfect as you could get so the guy got a steal in my opinion! |
