I live just outside of Hendersonville as well. Still have my '06 Uly just like you, but it hasn't seen as much daylight this year with a new filly in the stable. I did manage to get it out for a ride with Buelltours a few weeks back. Just got back from the Buell WV Rally last night, in fact. | ||

I'm actually taking the Uly to Ericz to help with some tuning to (hopefully) lessen/stop the acceleration pinging I have when hot. Doing that on Saturday, so I won't have the bike on Sunday. Maybe I could make it on the other bike, but family time might indicate otherwise. Charles - per you PM question, my new ride is a KTM 1190 Adventure. | ||

Hi guys. I'm new to Buell (have a 2006 Uly I got less than 2 weeks ago) and am about to move to Asheville, NC, which is as close to Hendersonville as you can get. I upgraded from a Honda Shadow 1100 because it scrapes on the corners and I knew it would be no good for mountain roads. I should be there in a week or so and would love to be shown a few nice rides in the area. I'd also appreciate being able to see how some of your bikes run so I will know if mine is lumpy or if that is normal. I'm not familiar enough with Buells to to be able to tell. | ||

BITA = "Buells in the Alps", a yearly Buell meet at the end of July in Little Switzerland, NC (hence the name). It's about 60 miles from Hendersonville on (mostly) very twisty roads. got 5 Buells and an Austrian service and rescue vehicle together and made it up to the parkway. Not bad for the inaugural Hendersonville ride. Unfortunately weather conditions scared us all into early submission... Gotta do it again!  | ||

On the scared into submission note, got a new front tire today! Great time. We definitely will have to do this again. Maybe the weather will let us go a bit farther next time. Mix in some grub too. | ||
