so I went to American Sport bike and do a search for air box cover.. get 100's of pages but not the cover.. am I missing something? I want another cover to loose the Buell logo but keep the original on the shelf.  it's too blue for me, the PO went crazy painting the black stuff..I'm thinking the hugger and AB cover in black? | ||

I couldn't find it either and usually Al has a carbon edition up.... We don't stock them but can get them easily enough. Should be around $235 or so, but I'd need to check. The plastic is the same on all the years (post 2006), but the decals are different from one year to the next. The decals don't come affixed to the cover. ping me at sales at americansportbike.com and I can tell you the exact amount. Al | ||

i like it the way it is, but that's just me. you should be able to get away cheaper replacing the handguards, belt guards and rear hugger | ||

I have a Blue airbox cover off my 09 Uly. Fair condition, swirls and surface scratches. nothing deep. My Uly now runs the original black cover from my 08 1125R. 40 bucks plus the ride? Zack <edit> The emblems come off real easy on a 95+ dF day or a heat gun. even a decent blow-dryer will help. Emblems peel off clean. The "X" on the Kick-Ash cover(on Loretta) is super-glued.. a real bitch to sand out all the uglies... (Message edited by zac4mac on January 06, 2014) | ||

I've seen some cool luggage options on the Uly but that's the first time I've ever seen one with an entire coffee shop as a top case. |
