It is just a bluetooth version of the ECM interface dongle. Quite frankly I wouldn't bother, bluetooth tends to be a pain in the ass to get to sync up.

You can build it yourself if you desire

Mike's been doing those for quite some time, they work well. I have 2 of them and they sync'd pretty easily. If you do have problems, he'll help set it up and get you going, not to mention he's got maps for most bikes.

Somebody needs to do the next round of innovation and get an off the shelf $15 canbus bluetooth dongle working with Torque and an android native version of ECM Spy or Tuner Pro.

Can anybody pass on to me contact information for someone knowledgeable to do Tuner Pro tuning in my area (Atlanta)? When I read the information on the xoptiinside website it is like trying to read and understand Chinese. This is all way over my head. I have already installed an ebr ecm for the sake of simplicity, but the result has been less than great for my application. Any help or guidance would be tremendously appreciated. Not asking for something for nothing either. Thanks all.

In fact, there already exists an android version of EcmSpy, it's called EcmDroid.

Check the google play store.

First it was more or less the same as on the Palm-EcmSpy-Versión.

Now, for example, there are also the torque values for the bolts.

I'm about to make one of these Bluetooth connectors and see what I can post about the bugs and hurtles I encounter. I will use ecmdroid on my htc incredible or find a way to emulate android on my surface and really have fun. It seems to be a little too good to be true. Am I just that out of touch?

Like Froggy said.

The best use of ECM-SPY or Tuner-Pro is to log runs to spot faults. To do this you need a 17 inch screen to see what is going on or to be able to transfer it to one. Even a 10.1 net book screen is little on the small side. You could use a Bluetooth or other wireless system but you are just going to add complications and costs to the process. And that is before you have learned/ taught yourself what is going on in the ECM etc. You are just making hard work for yourself in a hard enough situation to start with. Have fun.

Yea turns out your right 100%. Since I have an ecmspy copy that works and a good cable buying an old laptop seems to be the better solution to have fun. Bluetooth transfer is just something else to get in the way it seems, for me at least. If there was a lower priced unit to just plug, play, ride, log, and tune I would poop. I almost did here, but maybe ill just get off my ass and get a laptop.

Just a thought? My advice, since I have one, would be to get a Net Book. Why? Because they are cheap new, very powerful, big battery life and a solid modern machine. Mine is a MSI Wind machine with the 8 cell battery. I love mine and is the Uly of laptops for me and in the past only ever bought Toshibas. Times, as all things, change though.

Thanks for the input, ill revert back to lurking now. It seems the Android App shows potential. I just don't have the knowledge to deem this logical for me at this point. I want to be able to tune with ecmspy on windows rt. and highjack of thread complete,. Pm to converse
