Has anyone figured out a way to put a tank under the seat? How much clearance at bottom out? Two gallons would be great. I think under the seat would be the cleanest out of the way set up.

You may be on to something here.
If you're willing to remove the undertray thing and replace it with some oddly shaped plastic tank, you may be able to get a gallon and change without altering the profile of the bike.

I put my tire plugging stuff in there though.

I don't know about that idea. It gets really hot under the seat and I wouldn't want a plastic gas tank in there. Just my $.02.

Most tubers have plastic tanks, right above the engine. They don't have heat issues with the tanks.

I understand the heat fear. The comfort kit reduces the underseat temps, right?
