I'm sorry I don't have anything to offer but am just wondering if you are OK? I hate to hear of anyone crashing their bike.

Thank you for your concern. I t-boned a deer at 50 mph causing me to crash.

Unfortunately, I broke 5 ribs, an ankle and a toe. Haven't slept in my bed since the accident. Breaking your ribs sucks! I was wearing my jacket with armor so I have no abrasion to my torso but got road rash on my knees from having just jeans on. My riding pants and boots were in the saddle bag.

The bike isn't that bad, the aluminum bar ends and fork sliders helped with the front and the side case saved the back. No engine or frame damage thankfully.

Sorry to hear about your accident. The main thing that you are alive and no vital organs have been injured. It sucks to have broken ribs and bones, but that will heal.

I have spare rider footpegs (both left and right), but they are off an '08 Ulysses, meaning they are not black but silver-ish, and what's more importantly don't have as good of a grip.

Be more specific about turn signals, I had to replace one and thought they are all the same - it turns out all 4 have different part numbers. They are $25 each in Canada from the dealer, probably even cheaper in the US.

Good luck and hope you heal fast.

Look closely at your rear head where the motor mount is attached to the frame. It can crack and be hard to spot.

Sorry about your accident, it takes a little while for those ribs to heal.

I wrecked my 09 XB12X a year ago. Lived through the broken ribs and sleeping in a recliner.

If you can't find used parts, I purchased what I needed new from American Sport Bike and Surdyke HD (online.) I had no problem with availability.

Thanks for the advise. Does anyone have a pic of what I should be looking at in regards to the cracked head / motor mount damage?

I think I saw where the lip inside the clutch inspection window in the engine case can crack from the bike being dropped. Am correct or is that caused by something else.
