I recall a post where it was mentioned that there was a P&A ecm for 06 Uly with stock exhaust and K&N filter, supposedly because that's Eric rides (ser# 1000,000). Maybe a custom map by them. Talked to them and they no nothing about this, so can anyone expand on this? TIA, Danair | ||

I know nothing of this mysterious cal, but why do you think you need it? I have an '06 with stock exhaust and K&N with no troubles. I am running a EBR ECM now (stock configuration), but it also runs fine with the original ECM (but that one has an error code so I got the EBR a couple years ago). | ||

The P&A Race ECM was only available in one configuration, which was for the P&A Race Muffler which it was available with in the Race Kit. After EBR was formed, EBR released a similar Race ECM, but there are several configurations available to better match the various aftermarket exhausts. There was a configuration available at one point for 04-07 XB12's with the stock exhaust, but it was discontinued. | ||

My 08 has the EBR ECM and a Jardine muffler and open air box. The Jardine is too loud for my liking and I would like to go back to a stock muffler. Would I need to send my ECM back for reprogramming? | ||

That disco unit is the one I was referring to, Froggy. Did find a Buell P&A race ECM in the classifieds for the Buell race exhaust. I wired the IAE valve open, did a TPS reset and the result is simply awesome. |
