I thought it might be bad so I ponied up the big-bucks for a new isolator... no difference in ride. I came home and put the old one back on and the new one went back in its box. It sits on the shelf waiting for its turn now. It's very easy to change out once all the fasteners are broken loose. Clutch cable P-clamp gave me the most trouble... In other words, does it move up and down so that sometimes the gap is normal looking and other times it is collapsed? Have someone stand the bike up and have a look. That one may be bad.
