Buell's are good people, VERY good people, in my experience, at least the Buell's in Erik's line of Buell's. I have never met Erik but I knew his uncle well and he was a QUALITY man, through and through, and he has been on my mind tonight. Great accomplishments but very humble, and I'll never forget his asking me about 'Buell' motorcycles and his joy in hearing how I assessed them, just shortly before he passed. I feel VERY good looking down on my great XT and seeing 'Buell' on the tank. It is special to me.

Here Here!
I haven't met one I didn't like yet.
Erik is a great guy too. I met him once in 2003 on a BRAG ride, and then three years later at a Dealer Show he remembered my name and my bike. A phenomenal man.

I've never met Erik or any members of his family, but from all the stories I've read and heard he's an incredibly good person. Having been born and raised in the Pittsburgh, PA suburbs, and having discovered Buell's in '08, I'd have to say I like to mention Erik's story more than that of the local sports teams when traveling and folks say "oh, Pittsburgh".
