i bought it with 15k on the clock and it took 7K of my abuse before giving up as i down shifted into 1st, coming to a stop

i'm sure the bike enjoyed it's nap while i wrenched, but i really didn't need to lay it over in the grass to install the spare belt roadside.
at the moment; it seemed like what i needed to do.

having said that, i thought it would benifit others to know that the 7/8 inch wrench in the tool kit is not strong enough to remove the axle.
it is only intended for setting pre-load on the forks.

y'all might want to check and scrutanize your on-bike toolkits.
if you have the time; i'd highly suggest you run-thru a few tire/bet R&R's with just your tool kits.
i know i'll be going to Harbour Freight and getting some cheap tools to stock up on for my tool kits

Good stuff to know Matt.
I carry a big Buell toolkit on/in the Uly.
Plenty of room for "real" tools.
For Loretta, 1125Rs don't have much room, I modified a combination wrench to carry in the tail compartment.

I like your folding wrench too.
On long trips, I have a full-size 7/8".
I hate to cut it. perhaps I need to buy a chinese harbor freight wrench after work.

This looks like a great idea. I think you can make up a very compact kit for this bike that would do most everything needed.
Solid and practical advice. Thank you.
