Is my memory correct?

KTM Gobi hard bags will fit on the OEM Buell mounts if you reverse the bags?

Left on right side, right side on left?

Thanks all

yep, those'll fit. The latches are backwards, but they hold on just fine. Why did you find a set out there?

They're much nicer than the stock Buell bags. I have a pair from my KTM 950 days but have never used them on my Ulysses but may well in the future. Top loaders are better.

Our thoughts exactly.

We had a set on the 06 Uly we had back in the day.

I got a set of KTM Gobi bags off ebay they were new and cheap. They are mounted to a set of Buell Journeyman side racks with a Palmer tail rack. Bags are great you do have to leave the pass pegs down no big deal for me. You can find them on ebay cheap sometimes.

If you can find the KTM Gobi bags cheap, then go for it. Otherwise if you're going to pay close-to-full-price then get the non-KTM Gobis new from the vendor. The KTM Gobis are actually smaller than the normal Gobis(32L vs. 37L I think). Myself I just picked up some outdoorsman side cases for short weekend trips.
Also if you can find some of those passenger peg lowering brackets like I did(used) this eliminates the pass pegs having to be down all the time.

Thanks for the input

The Gobis can handle all we NEED to carry anyway !

LOL

Thanks for the advice on the passenger pegs.

Really want a set of gobis myself, I have the journey bags which I'm going to sell. Have you got a link to any gobi bags for sale?
