There is an email notification feature, I recommend you pick the 180/55 and sign up to get an email whenever they get it in stock.

I wonder if one would fit the front wheel ok and another the rear? I don't have my tire size with me...big water between me and the mainland right now!

They will have a 120/70 available soon for the front too, it is just a matter of it clearing the fork tubes and fender.

Y'all suss them out for me. : )
I have a set of "lightly used" take-off Pirellis for when I need tires.
Soon actually.

The Uly feels like it's on knobbies already.
Might as well give it a reason.

Cool. I will buy a set when the 120/70 comes out. Looks like a little longer life could be had as the blocks are pretty big. Might even blow some sand out the side of the front tire.

I'm very interested in the Conti's too. Does anyone have any idea how they should handle high speed? I get in a hurry sometimes...

Xaman,
No idea on the 120/70-17 size but in 21" front and 17" rear sizes they work remarkably well on twisty pavement for a half-way decent knobbie tire.

Very soft rubber compound and decent sidewall stiffness sticks and steers in spite of the tread pattern. You pay for it in mileage, however. They don't last very long with any amount of aggressive riding.

I checked with a local vendor and he said he could get them as of Feb 14th. Since it's now Feb 20th, I'll call back and see if he can really get them. I'm going to need them for Alaska this summer, so...
