Yes, it was stupid.. I plumbed a Aux pump tank to the fuel pump drain plug.

I didn't realize it but the fitting was bottoming out on the swingarm. I rode it the other day and noticed the fuel leak. Took the fitting out and I've stripped the thread on the pump. I don't know if hitting the swingarm did it or if tightening it up to stop leak did it.
Anyway it's done;( Do you think it would be wise to try and use a self tapping fitting or take the fuel pump out and re-thread one size bigger or......... I need some advice . I have basic wrenching skills so wanna fix this myself.

I'd pull it and go one size bigger on the threads. Obviously you need a more compact 90 degree fitting there to clear the swingarm as well.

I get nearly that with just the frame. I can probably do NY to WI in a single shot with that keg!

That would put me into Indianapolis non-stop. I just don't want to give up the top case. The keg looks nice in black. I could mount it on the triple tail over the seat.

I re-tapped the fuel pump drain hole. The drill caught part of the fuel pump tea bag looking filter. Anybody know if this is gonna be a big problem???? I swear this has turned into a big project; ) It's just a little fiber showing thru the drain hole. The bag is completely intact except for one little part.

It is just a filter, you can grab one at your local auto parts store.

Good deal. Did you find a 90 degree fitting that'll fit in the space without the swingarm hitting it?
