5th and Final When: August 19 - 21, 2011 Where: Northbend State Park Same place as last year!!... and the year before.. and the year before.... Why: Riding... eating... campfire... does there need to be any other reason?? You can pitch our tent at the same location as last year in the overflow camping area (AKA the Cokely Campground, see Joann) or if camping is not your thing... make your reservations at The Heritage Inn 315 E. Main St Harrisville, WV 26362 304-643-2938 you can also book a room at Northbend State Park http://www.northbendsp.com/ (304) 643-2931 I've had a pretty good year so far.... so if you are a camper... the campground is on me what to expect Friday = Pitch your tent at the Cokely Campground or check into your room and do some riding. Be back at the campground at 5:45 for a very SHORT group ride to the Gainer farm for food and vintage car show. After you are done eating and before to many deer come out... head back to the campground for campfire, maybe a drink or three and lies. Saturday. go your own way rides or hook up with a group and head out... its up to you. Saturday night is the same as Friday night. Be back at the Campground around 5:45 for a show of force ride back to my folks house or just show up there around 6 Sunday: Roll out of your rack and pack... hugs and goodbyes see you at the next ride... I hope Buelltoberfest Last year we passed the hat and raised 1000 bucks for Erik Buell Racing. I'll set it out again this year... maybe we can get Geoff a set of tires for New Jersey check the StormFronts area for the latest details. | ||

Bummer, I understand where your coming from. It sucks to have things fizzle out. I hope the Rally is kick ass and everybody has a great time! It seems I'm always late to the party. This year is fubar, but am looking forward to making an event or two next year. WV isn't all that far away. I learned about Buell one year before the closing, and wish I had gotten into motorcycles and Buells sooner. | ||

Never been so a few newby ?'s. Not a camper (maybe by then), but I am a drinker. So what is the best option to not have to ride to the place I rest my head? Should I just make sure I am a Camper by that time? camping is the only way to go... or bring a driver to haul your drunk butt back to the hotel... that has been Jimduncan69's job a few times  I will always say stay in the campground if you plan to have a few. Ride all day have a great meal in the evening. head to the campground and park the bike for the evening build a fire have a few drinks... a lot of laughs... crawl to your tent... put your earplugs in... get up about 3 am for a freezing pee that you just can't hold any longer. get back in your tent with wet feet... back... my back hurts... go back to sleep... wake up to Carlos's snoring... ya forgot to put your earplugs back in.... get out of your tent... head to the lodge for breakfast.... meet a "HAWT" waitress.... and then do it all again the next day. | ||

How far is the tent camping from the travel trailer sites? I'm thinking of taking both Buells in the Toyhauler and camping @ Cokely Campground | ||

just over the hill.... within walking distance... if someone has a good arm, they could bean you with a rock... depending on what site you get The shower house is very nice and well kept also... it was brand new for the first WVBR | ||
