Now there's a deal : )

For anyone thinking bout the backpack- GET ONE before there are no more. They are great backpacks, and priceless for use on our Ulys since they connect to the triple tail!

If I didn't have full hard-bags for the Uly....
The story behind the bags is a unique one too.

Uncle Court - tell us a story...

Z- I have full hard bags as well. I find the backpack indispensable on long trips especially- I can pack anything valuable or heat sensitive in the backpack and easily take it in with me on gas/food stops.

Even on shorter trips- we take runs up to the north shore and go hiking sometime. We'll pack lunch and essentials in the backpack, and leave our helmets and gear locked to the bike or in the hard bags!

There is . . . as some of you know . . . a rather fascinating story behind the conception, development and deployment of the "Triple Tail Bag".

I assume by now you've all found the "tunnel" in the bag . . .that goes from the small mesh pocket, through the laptop section and out the back?

Check the labels and see if you can find any "Made in ____" anywhere?

This is the old "how do you keep an idiot busy all day?" trick.

There are no "Made in _____" tags on mine, just an idiot tag telling me not to transport small children, dogs or raw chicken in excess of 17 lbs or 7.7kg in the bag.

As for the tunnel...

Oh I forgot to ask if there's some sort of badweb discount.
I just went ahead and ordered the bag along with an airfilter.

Prices seem fair enough though no worries : )

: ) I spent some time searching for this yesterday. I don't know about transporting children in it but my 4 year old wanted to know what I was doing and climbed in to see!!

Does anyone else have one they'd like to sell? I'm kind of interested in one. American Sport Bike doesn't appear to have them on their site now.

Pete must be moving while the Loonie is strong against the dollar? First the tail bag, now $200 with American Sport Bike today...

Two years ago when I was in Toronto, front page of The Globe and Mail declared that the recession in Canada was over and that the Banque du Canada had declared that everyone should get on with their lives including going to see the new Trailer Park Boys movie in theatres.

Apparently Pete has wasted no time!

The Trailer Park Boys movie was a waste of time. Epic waste. Shoulda just gone down to Jacox H-D/Buell and hung out

If you can find a triple tail bag, get one! With the hard bags on my normal commuter, the XT, I've never really had a need for ours til last weekend. I used the tailbag in conjunction with the city-x's cor-tech soft side bags on the Uly X's commute for my class in Orlando last weekend. I am a believer in this bag! I need room for my training materials, range (beanie) helmet, extra gloves, extra boots, rain gear, lunch, and any other crap we chicks are compelled to carry.

The bag and the bike met and exceeded my needs. I really like the retro-reflective piping on the triple tailbag. It made the cortech bags look "blah" in comparison so I fixed that with retro reflective strips and some super duper fabric glue. Now the bagged up behind of the x lights up like a Christmas tree at night. Woo hoo!

If we didn't have to set aside cash for another comfort kit, I'd bag another bag.

I scored one more of these.. if someone that already has an account with us wants it, send me an email, sales at americansportbike dot com. For just one, I'd rather not upload it back to the website only to have to remove it again after it sells.

Or, if you're ordering something else on the site, just mention it in the order comments and I can add it on.
