I'm sure it will take a few years to work out all the bugs if they ever can.

Perfect description of my Ulysses. Multiple wheel bearing and belt failures, broken throttle body, electrical harness issues, multiple tows home or to the dealer. I don't think a week goes by without someone on this site posting a new thread about a failed wheel bearing. Simplicity does not necessarily mean fool proof.

Worst that has happened to mine is a broken belt at over 25,000 miles. I imagine other things will happen as the miles go by. I'll fix them.

Froggy- You keep dissing the XB's but I don't see you getting rid of yours.

After leaving me stranded (again), I am done with her. I got a funny feeling I am not going to make it home with her. Old, worn out, beat up, molested, abused, and neglected, she has had enough of me and is getting payback. Time for retirement!

At least my Uly doesn't put my hands to sleep at cruising speeds.

I have done 600+ mile days on mine, never had an issue with that. The Uly on the other hand will shake till the bolts holding the bars come loose.

I wonder how a wheelie landing is going to affect the fairing on that 1125 GT???? Looks like it would snap.

Mine hasn't broken yet. There are tons of videos of 1125R's doing wheelies without issue.

Perfect description of my Ulysses.

Same here, my more complex 1125R is more reliable than my XB hands down. Electrical issues tend to be cheaper and easier to fix than mechanical ones, not to mention electronics are less likely to fail to start with.

Thanks Froggy, now I feel like I should sell my 09XT before I have any problems.
