hey guys, finally joined up with you and got a Uly. A black 2006 with the side cases. My last Buell was an '05 12R that I sold when the wifey was pregnant. Rode about 100 miles today and was loving every minute of it.

now it's time to get the mod list ready.

Very nice. Glad to see you finally got one. I just got done putting about 220 on mine this evening.

congrats and welcome back brad. i'm sure the wife will like it a lot more too. if nothing else, get rid of the flyscreen and get either the palmer(i have) or madstadt with a taller windscreen. will make your ride quite more comfortable.

I'm joining you too as a new Uly owner. Been looking at them for a long time, but finally picked up my 09 XB12XT about two weeks ago. I love that bike, I'm not sure if there is anything it doesn't do well! I know that I had no problem trading the 1125r for it, but that's because I kept my 1125cr for fun.

No way I'd get rid of Loretta, my 1125R, but I finally paid Frank Skinner for his 09.
Very happy with it although the height is taking some getting used to.

My boss was shaking his head yesterday as I rode across the field after work.
Good bike for "short-cuts".
