I can't quite seem to find this in the Search feature but I remember someone on the board made an adapter to move the passenger peg forward and down...which my wife would dearly appreciate. Anybody remember this? I see the pegs at American Sport Bike are 1" lower...but this is forward and lower. A machined part that fits in the original pinned hole and creates a new spot to put the foot peg back in. Need 'em. |

Rwven makes 'em. Ron's a great guy and I have a set of 'em on my Uly. Perfect fit, and I understand a perfect finish now too. I got his first or second set; the powdercoater used clearcoat gloss on mine, but the colormatch is dead-on. Now he's convinced the powdercoater NOT to clearcoat 'em, so they have the same matte finish as the frame. Here's mine in part of a pic from Buelltoberfest:

Ratbuell, in my previous career I worked for a company that manufactured powder coating. One of our larger clients was Moen. We produced a clear powder coating for them that was a matte finish as well as different gloss levels that went on faucets and fixtures they produced. I'm sure the company that made your pegs could ask the powder coater to match the gloss level. The reason clearcoating is done is not simply aesthetics, but because it gives the paint the highest level of weatherability. We've had our powder tested in salt spray and UV tests and it is amazing how much longer the finish will last. Just a thought. |

What a great idea! I may be interested in a set also but still do not see any info on pricing or where to order. Can anyone help me out here please? Thank you. |

Motorbike, send a PM to Rwven and ask for details and such. Posting the info on here would probably violate the no non-sponsor posting rules. |

+1 on PMing Ron directly. He's a good guy, he'll get in touch with you promptly Black51 - I think the coater just used the wrong finish on the first couple sets. Not a big deal; my bike is usually filthy enough I can't tell! |

Just got back...thank you guys! Will pm Ron. I wonder if the feature could also lower the driver's pegs...I need to lower mine. I know that Am Spts Bike's pegs do that...and they are nice and big...but would avoid the $150 if possible. Your thoughts on pilot's pegs being lowered? |

If you are interested, I have a brand new, unused set for sale. I bought them for my (much) better half, but she decided pillion riding wasn't for her before I could fit them. They are a really nice, well made piece of kit, so if any of you are interested, contact me! |
