Someone asked for this and I couldn't find the thread so I figured I'd post it here.

NOTE: File is too large . . I sent to Blake to attach.

Thank you, Blake. It is very much appreciated. I asked the dealer who installed it for a copy and they said there were no directions. When I told him I saw the tech reading them when I looked through the window he said it must have been something else. HELLO! lol Thanks so much, Blake. Mike

OOORAH!
Thanks Court and Blake
I hope to put these instructions to use when I get home. Santa whispered that there might be a kit under the tree this year.

Idiot dealers are bad . . . liars worse yet.

There are "I-Sheets" (Instruction Sheets) for EVERYTHING Buell makes or ever has made. In the world of today's liability . . . well . . you can bet there are. They are less concerned with the actual instructions than they are a forum for all those "don't let an infant swallow the Rider Comfort Kit" warnings.

If you need anymore . . let Blake or I know. With his brains and my looks I'm sure we can get them . . .

Ride safely and thanks for placing your trust and confidence in Buell.

Those instructions for the fan shroud are incorrect. They should say "bend it and stuff it".

The only prob with the BI&SI method...when it's cold out, they snap.

DAMHIK.

On a good note, though...gaffers' tape works awesome to hold a cracked piece of plastic in place ; )

I'll take you up on that 'good lookin', or on second thought, maybe I should just contact Blake! lol

Seriously, thanks for the offer.

I had my tape handy, but I only used it to cover the seam between the frame and the shroud. I was sweating my buns off in the garage the day I installed mine, the thing was almost molten....

I didn't have any problems with mine.

And no problems with the seat pan re-install.....

I replaced my fan at the same time and had more problem getting that thing back in.

BTW....someone on a different thread mentioned removing the fan roadside....NO WAY! You would have have to be some kind of contortionist or something....unless I'm missing something...always a possibility.

Oh, but more on topic.....Kudos to Court "The Beautiful" and Blake "The Super Genius" for making such things accessible to the less than ravishing, less learned masses!

My mistake . . I **thought** I had the I-Sheet for the bags . . . I didn't.

All I had from mine was the factory shipping ticket from the R&D folks that had a packing list.

This SHOULD be good for the production bags and I have one on the way . . . which I will post when I get it.

Thanks guys. I just ordered a comfort kit, so this will help me get things prepped and disassembled just before the kit gets here. I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Helluvu forum you've got going on here!
