Just had my 10k done on the Uly.

And two new tires (D616).

And '07 fork springs.

Aside from the fact that it's still filthy - they asked if I wanted it washed and I said DON'T YOU DARE! - it's a brand new bike.

I probably made too many changes at once to quantify just the fork springs...but WOW. They are one thousand percent better than the OEM '06 springs. I'd never had a "problem" with the OEMs...but now that I have the '07 springs in there, I don't know how I rode without them. HIGHLY recommend this mod to any '06 owners.

Ratbuell,
I certainly notice the difference with my son's 07 ULY. Maybe I'll ask for a pair of springs for Christmas.

Ratbuell, hate to hijack your thread but I had one of the throttle cables break on my Uly last week. Seems the cable sleeve on the throttle body vibrated off and frayed/broke the cable. Called a few dealers near me to check availability, but was informed the part was not in stock at any dealer in VA. Called Frederick just for kicks and to my joy your shop had one in stock. Logged over 200 miles round trip to pick it up and I installed it later that same day. Just wanted to let you know that's a great place you work at.

BTW, I did see your Uly parked out front, but you were nowhere to be found inside. Must have been busy.

EG - just make sure you use the suspension setup chart from HIS bike, if you get the '07 springs. Same settings as your '06..won't work very well. DAMHIK.

Dirt - sorry I missed you, but glad we had your part : ) Yah, it's been more than a little busy 'round here this weekend....
