I took the Uly out and used it for what it was designed for. It put a smile on my face like it always does and made me put the ugliness of the past few days out of my mind. Now I feel even more positive that the future of Buell is a bright one.

Ever since I traded my 06 Uly on my 1125R I've really missed it and was planning to buy another Uly in the spring. Since 10/15 I'm going to find one soon.

Hey! I did that too, although mine didn't get quite as muddy. I did have a few pucker moments going through some eel-poo slick spots on some wet dirt roads though!

I also managed to make the rear tire step out a little on a tight curve on pavement while ago.

It's the only therapy we've got right now, and I guess it's the best.

Yesterday I put over 300 miles on my new to me Uly (mostly highway).

Today I put on another 130 miles and also my first off roading!! Nothing major, just some maintained dirt/gravel roads. Didn't get too dirty. Also found out that street tires really suck (Scorp Syncs on order).

Tommorrow I will put another 300 or so miles on it riding to Daytona to support Smoke in his Buell racing effort!!

Got mine out for a bit after working all day. Rode over to the dealer in search of another Pegasus decal for my new side cases - sold out! Must be a collector's item now. Also saw that all the Buells were priced at MSRP.
It still shakes at idle and the fan wails when I shut it off. I'm a happy man. Maybe I'll even wash it and polish the chrome tomorrow - or not.

I went the other way. Gave her the annual bath and installed a Special O.P.S. pipe. I remain thrilled every time I ride.
