Hello, I am new to this forum. Can't believe how much info is on here. But I cannot seem to find out what tool I need for the rear wheel axle nut. I get the feeling everyone on this forum will though.

Thanks for the advise guys your are absolutely correct. Now I just need to pick up a Jack and get that wheel off.

Cheers.

Look in your tool kit (should be under the seat in a blue pouch, possibly next to the battery). There's a special nut in there with a snap ring installed on it. Insert the nut in the hex opening in the axle, then use a standard socket and wrench to turn.

Don't forget to loosen the axle pinch bolt first...

I'm a rear wheel nut, too.

You will also need a 22mm or 7/8" socket to use the tool kit "double nut" adapter that Hughlysses is referring to.
If your adapter is lost, I bought a new one from Buell for a whopping $6, IIRC.

+1 Don't forget to loosen the axle pinch bolt first...

It's kind of hard to turn if you don't. Don't ask me how I know.
