I think the actual product Num is: NGK2316

That is the one I used in my 08XT to replace the HARLEY DAVIDSON 10R12X.

I use the NGK DCPR8EIX in my 06 ULY...This is a hotter plug than the "9" listed in the above post...I think the 8 is the proper heat range...stock number on box is 6546

ive always considered spark plugs "snake oil"...

i put a set of iridiums in my new roadking and it did make a noticable improvement in the idle and low speeds..

My understanding is that the DCPR9EIX is the correct heat range.

I was told that Buell changed to a cooler plug in about 2002 but the NGK cross reference chart wasn't updated.

Dealers here are telling people to remove Iridium plugs because engine damage has been reported. They are blaming all Iridium plugs when only the 8s are at risk of being too hot.
