Actually, the cop realized that neither had a snowball's chance in hell of catching the RED XT, and the poor rider on the colorless Uly was riding over his head trying, so a stop would make a dangerous situation safer. Plus, he (the cop) could have an opportunity to admire the beauty of the sexy ORANGE Uly.

Crusty's theory is closer.

The Black Uly was taking his turn in the lead, and did so in an un-lawful manor. Thus leading the Orange Uly into trouble, which by his(orange Uly) good nature, was able to help black Uly escape a ticket and a fine.

The LEO knew the orange Uly could have smoked him as he had the Black Uly on the berm, but by being the responsible faster orange Uly owner, I knew the LEO would be blown away by just having a closer look at the super awesome faster F#$%'^@ ORANGE Uly!..... I WAS RIGHT!

ok, now the question is: Where was the Blue Uly at?

Also can any owners of a black Uly tell me what it's like to ride behind an orange Uly? I've never done that yet and was just wondering what it's like.

Same here, I have been to March Badness and Buelltoberfest a few times, the only Uly's in front of me were all black!

One exception was I was following M2nc once, and that was because I had no clue where we were going. I had no problem keeping up even with big ass duffel bags and a laptop on my back!

You guys were likely behind an ORANGE Uly several times, but they are so fast they are waaaayyyyy out ahead of you.....out of sight range on a ride is not unusual for us.

Blue Uly's were not seen in this particular scenerio.(no RED Ulys were harmed in telling this story!)

Three orange Uly riders walk into a bar - as luck would have it, they were a rabbi, a priest, and a bishop.

The bartender looks up at them and says, "What is this, some kind of joke?"

A Uly rider walks into a bar carrying jumper cables.
The Bar tender looks at him and says, "Now, don't start anything"

I know the orange is fastest color, but New12R's black one is hard to shake. Although he would not admit it, i'm pretty sure it was orange and he swapped the body work.

A Uly rider walks into a bar.
The bartender looks at him and says,
"You got a headlight out."

True story.

So when I swap out the orange for black my Uly should still be faster than a stock black one? All these years I kept building bigger motors in my black harleys for no reason. Geez..........

Orange Uly's are sweet rides. Like your best treats Orange popsicles , Orange Julius, Orange sherbet. Just compare the visual imagery to Black bananas, Black licorice. The food groups don't lie, Orange is the tastier ride all the way.

you know after thinking about it, I did ride behind an orange Uly once. It was two years ago at Homecoming when the group left East Troy and followed Keith Ulicki (on his orange Uly) and Bubba Blackwell back to Kenosha to see Bubba's Buell stunt show.

That sure was a slow ride!

Yeah it was a slow one. I was on that ride too. But it was a special one for sure!

A seal walks into a bar and says, "Hey bartender, how about a Canadian Club on ice"
