At least Orange Ulys attract attention. Mind you its the wrong kind of attention. I can't understand it. I was just minding my own business and enjoying the ride.

I have the faster black color and two speeding tickets to show for proof!

I can't believe that the following motorcycle didn't make a U turn when the police officer pulled on the road. In Illinois, the officer would have given both motorcycles a ticket! Our law enforcement officers are NOT motorcycle friendly here.

Careful bashin' on the Orange, Court.... It takes a real man to ride something the same color as the stripes they paint down the middle of the road!

Blue and black are so.....mainstream.

A huge hunk of meteor only turns orange when it slows down in the atmosphere.

It starts off black. : D

"A huge hunk of meteor only turns orange when it slows down in the atmosphere.

does that mean that my black Uly will turn orange when it slows down? I had better keep the rpm's up then!

Looks like she might have scraped her right leg in a previous wheelie incident. Don't know why LEOs get so excited about 10 or 20 over the limit - the earth revolves @ about 1000 mph & orbits the sun @ 67,000 mph - whats another 20 mph or so ?? Anyone used that in traffic court...successfully ?

Tested that theory on the trip to Daytona. The Black Uly was nailed until the ORANGE ULY pulled up to the State Trooper, wherein we were let off with a warning and a short lecture.

That black one had us nailed for 90 in a 70. Don't trust black Ulys.

Etennuly - that's because the Trooper felt sorry for the black Uly, being associated with an inferior orange Uly...

Dude, I was running clean and lean! The tent was mounted across the back of the seat, and the three bags were full of crap, but no cooler.

Nah, it is just that when I rode up he knew who was the spooner and who was the spoonie in our camp. The black Uly seems to always be trying to get away with things, or hiding or something. The Orange Uly.....well it is right out there with nothing to hide.

Not to put too fine a point on this thing, but has anyone else noticed that the overwhelming majority
of problems and breakdowns here occur to orange Uly's..... it seems that even God hates the orange ones.

If I recall correctly, I read in Court's book that after the photo was taken, Erik immediately ordered the following:

M1601.1AKMW Flyscreen Kit w/decal (black)
M1224.2AKMW Intake Cover Kit w/decal (black)
N0025.2AKYW Seat, complete (black)

Hmmmmmmmmmm. the way I read this is that the black Uly is way ahead of the slower orange color when the LEO pulled over the black Uly and then finally the slower orange Uly caught up the LEO realized that the first black Uly didn't want to be seen with the much slower roadgrader orange color and then just issued a warring. Is that what happened? lol
