I drove down to Georgia to help a friend out. Both my bikes were down so I took the car. That sucked. He has two bikes so we did get out and ride and had a good one last Sunday where we stopped at TWO and took a break. The weather was perfect. We jumped on 180 and headed over to Helen. Thanks to Slowride and his GPS I now knew the back way into Helen and it was great to pop up in the middle of town without any traffic!! Now for all those heading to Badness I'm afraid the weather this coming weekend is not good. I took off yesterday in the rain and they were expecting rain every day except Sunday. Bring your raingear! I hope they are wrong about it. They did need a good gully washer to clean the roads as we found a lot of fine gravel in the middle of the lane that really screwed up the entry to the corners. I just hope after the roads are cleaned it stops raining for you. Have fun! tootal | ||

Hey Tootal, I'm glad you had nice weather for most of your ride! Ok, the weather looks like crap in South Georgia right now. As you say, the forecast till Sunday looks moist. I DON'T CARE!! The bike is packed. The rain gear is laid out. Wheels up tomorrow 6am. Thanks for the heads-up on the roads. I'll look out. Hope to see you next time! | ||
