why I got back into riding! I live in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and commute to Santa Cruz each day. This morning, in the cold (38 degrees), I rode down highway 9 in the dark. No traffic, good headlights (thanks speedkills!) and my almost new Uly! Sure is different from taking the Subie each day! I'm amazed at how nice a bike this is. Dave |

Hey you're in my neck of the woods! Watch out for the black ice, gravel/dirt, and wet road snakes! BC Steve |

And the Deer! It is a great area to ride. I've been off 2 wheels for about 9 years and have only put about 350 miles on the Uly. It's really different from my old Cagiva/Ducati! BTW, those ST3's are cool bikes! Dave |

Believe it or not I've killed two deer on bikes and didn't go down or suffer any major damage! Left them spinning in the road behind me after they hit the side of my bike. Uly 1 and Road Glide 1. Scared the beejeasus out of me but I still ride! Yeah I love my S3T but alas it sits gathering dust. I need to break it away from the corner of the garage and loosen it up! We should try to get together for a ride sometime. |

Yikes! I've been here for 22 years, and the rest in N.Maine, and I've never hit one. Now I must find a piece of wood to knock on... Dave |
